Job Description
Farm Operations Manager. Rice Research & Extension Center in Stuttgart, AR is seeking someone to implement and manage all station field and plot level crop production, e.g., tillage operations, planting, fertilization, pest management, irrigation management, farm records, and harvesting. The FOM will work with our maintenance coordinator and personnel from the Foundation Seed Program to maintain and manage pumps, motors, pipelines, valves, moisture meters, flood-depth meters, etc. Minimum of B.S. degree in agriculture, crop and soil science, agronomy, or related field; plus three years of related experience in farm management operations OR an M.S. degree in one of the fields listed above.
