ResponsibilitiesOperate vacuum trucks to remove liquid waste and transport it to disposal sites in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring all safety and maintenance procedures are followed.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to ensure timely service delivery.
Maintain accurate logs and records of service deliveries, including work orders and manifests.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to safety and environmental compliance.
Participate in regular safety training and development sessions to enhance skill sets and knowledge base.
RequirementsLicensing: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required, along with TWIC and DISA credentials.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating vacuum trucks is preferred.
Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment, understanding essential safety protocols.
Physical Fitness: Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting, with ease.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and clients.
Problem-Solving: Aptitude for troubleshooting and solving problems independently on the job.
Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and overtime if required.
Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Houston, Texas, and surrounding areas is a plus.
