About the Role

The Company is seeking a Strategic Sourcing professional with a strong background in technology strategic sourcing and category management, particularly in the software and SaaS licensing space. The role is pivotal in driving the execution of strategic priorities related to the firm's relationships with vendors, with a focus on operational efficiency and supplier diversity targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and participating in global contract and commercial negotiations for technology-related products and services, developing software category planning, and expense management programs. They will also be expected to create financial analyses, ensure adherence to vendor management policies, and serve as an advisor on licensing and commercial/contractual/vendor risks. Applicants must have a relevant Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years' of experience in the field, and a CPSM certification or MBA is a plus. The role requires the ability to navigate complex situations, strong analytical capabilities, and financial modeling experience. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is the ability to lead and drive assignments to completion. A solid work ethic, high motivation, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are also necessary. Preferred qualifications include experience with the SAP Spend Management suite, a background in the financial services industry, and technical experience or a deep understanding of technical concepts.
