JOB TITLE: Sheet Metal Mechanic

LOCATION: Greenville SC

PAY RATE: $34.00 $38.00 per hour

• 12month contract with opportunities for extension

Summary:

• Performs planning fabrication assembly installation and repair of internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces as part of aircraft modification projects.

• Work is conducted in compliance with technical manuals engineering drawings and FAA regulations.

• Tasks focus on the F16 production line including installing fasteners drilling bulkheads and skins and building fuselage components.

• Responsibilities include heavy precision drilling countersinking and reaming precision holes.

• This role involves handson production work including bench work and active precision drilling on aircraft.

• Candidates must be comfortable climbing on fuselage parts using stands kneeling and working on ladders.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: Mon Thurs 6:00 AM 4:30 PM

• 2nd Shift: Mon Thurs 4:30 PM 3:00 AM

• Weekend Shift: Thurs Sun 6:00 AM 4:30 PM

• Note: Be prepared to work offshifts including second shift or weekends.

Required Skills:

• Aircraft Production Structures Experience: 6 years (Required)

• Precision Drilling: 4 6 years (Required)

• Blueprint Reading: 4 6 years

• Sheet Metal: 2 4 years

• Aircraft Sheet Metal Repairs: 2 4 years
