Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Safety Assurance Professional to join our talented team and help lead the charge in maintaining a safe and compliant workplace. Join our team as an Occupational Safety & Health Specialist and play a key role in ensuring a safe and secure workplace for everyone.

Your mission: to administer and conduct safety audits, investigate accidents, identify root causes, and develop actionable solutions designed to prevent recurrence. Your exceptional attention to detail will shine as you diligently document every step of your work, ensuring complete and accurate reports that support informed decision-making. Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
• Four (4) years of experience in safety within transit, manufacturing, change management, large industrial/manufacture operations or a similar industry are required.
• The following licenses/certificates are required within three (3) years of employment: -PTSCTP - Public Transportation Safety Certification Training Program -TSSP - Transit Safety and Security Program (Bus and Rail)
• Possession of current/valid Class "C" license issued by Oregon or Washington; ability to pass a driving record check meeting TriMet driving record standards.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Transportation, Risk Management, Science, Public Health, Industrial or Occupational Health, Construction Management, Planning, Manufacturing or Aviation, or a in Safety, Engineering, Transportation, Risk Management, Science, Public Health, Industrial or Occupational Health, Construction Management, Planning, Manufacturing, Aviation, or any education that provides the KSA's is preferred.
• Four (4) years of experience in the safety field, including: transportation, commuter or heavy rail, fleet safety, aviation, manufacturing, construction, oil and gas safety, public health, or other applicable dedicated safety job role are preferred.
• Four (4) years of experience in safety management systems, change management, industrial hygiene, ISO lead auditor, project management, data analytics, six sigma, kaizen or lean manufacturing are preferred.

Compensation: 83,587.00-125,382.00
