Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
A bit about us: We are a publicly traded origination and we are seeking a dynamic and highly-motivated SEC Reporting Analyst to join our Accounting and Finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reports. They will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to the financial transparency and integrity of our organization.
This is a Senior Accountant role where a CPA is required. Someone straight out of public accounting, or experienced with SEC reporting will be a great match!

Job Details Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
2. Perform detailed financial analysis to understand and explain the drivers of change within the financial statements.
3. Assist in the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K, and other ad-hoc requests.
4. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure all financial reports are accurate, complete, and in compliance with auditing standards.
5. Stay updated on new SEC and FASB pronouncements, assess their impact on the company, and implement necessary changes in the reporting process.
6. Assist in the preparation of materials for the Board of Directors and Audit Committee.
7. Collaborate with various departments, including Legal, Investor Relations, and Corporate Communications, to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of financial information.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or MBA is strongly preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEC reporting, corporate accounting, or public accounting.
3. In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting processes.
4. Experience with financial reporting software and systems, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
5. Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
7. Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and levels of management.
