We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to join our team in Louisville, KY. This role offers a competitive rate of $30-$35 per hour, depending on experience. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training and support to employees on safety practices and emergency procedures.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending preventative measures.
• Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization.
• Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and inspections.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in safety regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a safety coordinator or similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.

• Must have OSHA 30

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and educate employees at all levels.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 500, CPR/First Aid) are a plus.

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field is preferred.

Salary info:

$30 - $35 / hr
