Job Title: Roll-Off Driver

Job Summary:

A Roll-Off Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of roll-off trucks to transport and dispose of waste, recyclables, and construction debris at designated disposal sites. This role requires adherence to safety regulations, vehicle maintenance, and excellent customer service while picking up and delivering roll-off containers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport & Delivery: Pick up, transport, and deliver roll-off containers to various locations, including landfills, recycling centers, and job sites.
• Vehicle Operation & Safety: Operate roll-off trucks safely, following all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Container Handling: Load and unload containers properly, ensuring they are secured and positioned safely at customer sites.
• Inspection & Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, report any mechanical issues, and ensure routine truck maintenance is completed.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with customers, providing excellent service while adhering to scheduled pickups and drop-offs.
• Compliance & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, and waste disposal in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Safety & Environmental Compliance: Follow all OSHA, DOT, and environmental guidelines to ensure proper waste handling and disposal.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience as a roll-off truck driver or similar heavy-duty vehicle operation is preferred.
• Licensing: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – typically Class B or A, with a clean driving record.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects, work in various weather conditions, and perform physical tasks related to truck operation.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management, communication, and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with roll-off container systems, hydraulic lift mechanisms, and waste disposal regulations is a plus.

Work Environment:

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Frequent travel between job sites, landfills, and disposal facilities.
• May require early mornings, overtime, weekends, or holidays depending on company needs.
