Ocean Import/Export Coordinator: This candidate would join the Import or export operations team.
Our ideal candidate would have to be self-motivated, reliable, have a strong job integrity, and willing to participate effectively as part of the import team.
Responsibilities include:
Handling and processing Ocean Import and Export shipments from delivery point: port or customer’s door.
Open files, enter shipment information, complete billing and close files.
Handle shipments containing Dangerous goods as well as batteries.
Communicate with customers, overseas offices, steamship lines, co-loaders and trucking companies.
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills
Detail oriented
Customer service experience
Trainability
Good attitude
Experience in ocean import/export preferable
Minimum two years of experience in International Freight Forwarding
Associates Degree
