Truck Driver : Rockford , Illinois

Our customer in Rockford, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Truck Drivers to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for driving and operating a lugger truck for waste collection and disposal.

Responsibilities of the Truck Driver :

• Pick up, load, and transport waste materials from designated locations, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads.
• Follow designated routes and schedules, making adjustments as necessary for efficiency and safety.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the lugger truck, reporting any mechanical issues to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain accurate records of routes, collection volumes, and any incidents during operations.

Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements. (Class A or Class B with Air Brakes)
• Previous experience operating lugger trucks or similar vehicles is preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for route planning and safety checks.
• Good verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Provide a DMV report that verifies a clean driving record before placement

Pay for Truck Driver : $20/hour.
