WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking an experienced Implementation Project Manager with knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and a strong background in process improvement and project management to implement solutions that drive process optimization for our clients and the industry. These solutions may include reducing cycle, wait, or production times, improving quality, reducing risk, enabling automation, and achieving cost savings or avoidance. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity, evolving priorities, and working in a fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Reporting directly to our Resource Manager, as an Implementation Project Manager on our team, you will initially work onsite 3x days a week in our client's office located in the Greater Baltimore area. You will provide project management support to implement process optimization solutions derived from Lean Six Sigma assessments. You will collaborate with process owners and business lines to develop implementation plans, finalize solution details, and coordinate handoffs to technology partners as needed. Your role will involve balancing tailored approaches with standard practices to ensure successful project execution, while navigating dynamic priorities and contributing to impactful business improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
8+ years of total relevant work experience
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Experience working with technology and/or agile teams
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher
PMP or 5+ years project management experience
Preferred PROSCI or change management equivalent certification
RESPONSIBILITIES: Utilize branded standard slides and project artifacts, develop and share project plans, status updates, business requirements, and other supportive materials of solutions developed during process improvement assessment phase.
Working with business process owners, SMEs, and other project managers, when necessary, update process improvement solutions to ensure they meet project goals such as risk reduction, time savings/ cost avoidance and manages them to completion or appropriate intake into technology groups.
Build detailed implementation plans and roadmaps to drive delivery expectations and to further feed larger integrated plans that impact the firm overall. Incorporate change adoption expectations to plan for potential change collision across teams.
Engage and direct business leaders; set goals, manage expectations, and provide detailed plans (ownership, operational responsibility, management, continuity, knowledge, benefits realization) for business unit transition.
Work with various departments to ensure successful implementation, troubleshooting when necessary to remove roadblocks and support incremental progress. Be able to forecast risks/issues/dependencies that will impact the implementation plan. Know when to engage proper escalation paths to remove roadblocks & make executive decisions to proceed forward.
Leverage communication and governance skills working with associates of varying seniority and skillsets to drive implementation execution.
