Location : Morristown, NJ

Schedule : Full-time, 5 days a week (shifts vary based on department needs), with weekend and weekday on-call requirements.

Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Technician to assist proceduraists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standard of patient care and procedural support in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist proceduraists with scrubbing during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases.
• Operate floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic modality machines.
• Identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases.
• Critically assess and provide support during neuro-interventional and other complex cases.
• Operate power injection devices for iodinated contrast media during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention measures while setting up procedural trays.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons.
• Document procedures in the electronic medical record and send images to Sectra/PACs system.
• Manage groin sites post-intervention.
• Adhere to high-quality care standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, including the use of closed-loop communication.

Required Skills & Experience :

• 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist.
• Strong knowledge of operating fluoroscopic modality machines and power injection devices.
• Proficiency in sterile techniques and infection prevention protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and Sectra/PACs systems.

Educational Requirements :

Required :

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Associate degree OR completion of an accredited radiographic program.

Certifications & Licensure :

Required :

• NJ Radiographic Licensure.
• BLS certification from an approved American Heart Association provider or equivalent with skill demonstration in basic life support.
• Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT.
