24 Seven is partnering with a well-known client to help them find an Interaction Sound Designer to join their team in this hybrid position in Palo Alto, CA. This is a full-time, contract position. While on contract, you'd be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision and more. Overview: This role will center on crafting audio and haptic experiences. You'll design interaction sounds for Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Messenger, and Threads, contributing to brand recognition and elevating the overall brand experience. Candidates should have a strong grasp of interaction sound design, its effect on users, and a drive to innovate in accessible sonic experiences. You'll handle all phases of sound design-from concept, iteration, and asset prep, to testing and final approval. The role requires both independent work and close collaboration with team members and product groups to lead complex projects across platforms and mediums. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll give creative feedback and work with cross-functional partners to shape the sonic landscape for diverse software and hardware experiences. Responsibilities:

• Craft unique, memorable, and iconic sonic experiences for a large population of users
• Drive complex interaction sound design + haptics projects through completion.
• Use your proven understanding of interaction sound design to define and distill broad concepts into actionable deliverables.
• Contribute to the development of sound design systems by establishing audio design standards, guidelines, and best practices, while being the go-to expert for all things sound, including design standards, best practices, and implementation guidelines.

• Hands-on experience with Sound design and Interaction Sound Design in particular.
• 5+ years creating UX sonic experiences for products in mobile, hardware, and non-traditional or immersive environments.
• Experience creating original sound design for high-profile products or experiences.
• Experience with sound design synthesis and latest plugins.
• Demonstrated music production experience.
• Understanding of human-centered design.
• Experience testing implementation of sounds.
• Understanding of Design Systems and systems thinking
