Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and execute projects with precision. This role involves building, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The Carpenter will work on various projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.
• Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform heavy lifting as required for various construction tasks.
• Execute concrete forming for foundations or other structures as needed.
• Install drywall and siding according to project requirements.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion on time.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings.
• Familiarity with power tools and heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly.
• Knowledge of concrete forming techniques is preferred.
• Experience with drywall installation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
