Gummi World is looking for a CPA to join our team in our Austin, Texas office for a special project. This position is expected to last approximately 2 months but could possibly transition into a permanent role. The majority of the project is to reconcile and consolidate financial statements amongst multiple entities.

The ideal candidate is seasoned, an excellent communicator, attentive, detail orientated and efficient. He/she must complete work skillfully and independently and collaboratively from the office. He/She must be able to give and receive constructive feedback. 
This is a temp position, in person role. We require an individual who was formerly a c-suite executive and/or has multiple transferrable skills in manufacturing working with multiple entities.

Responsibilities: 

• Documentation – follow controls to minimize risk. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
• Reporting – Ensure they meet accounting guidelines and principles. Collaborate with existing accounting manager and team. 
• Analyze- Costs, risks and data, use technology to improve efficiencies as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• MBA preferred
• 12-15 years of related experience is required
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and accounting guidelines
• A valuable record of reconciliation and consolidation
