Job Description

Our client, a well-known beauty company, is looking for a Digital content Writer to join their team for a 12-month contract. This position requires working onsite 3 days a week in El Segundo, CA.  The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience writing digitally focus copy in the beauty, or personal care category.

Responsibilities:

• Writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy for e-commerce, retail signage, product brochures and other misc. projects on a global level.
• Proofread internal presentations, miscellaneous projects.
• Maintain brand language styles that appeal to various target consumers.
• Produce copy for email marketing and skinbetter.com blog that adheres to style guide and ensure consistency in tone of voice.
• Cross check facts with existing brand materials and clinical studies.
• Follow the writing schedule to complete articles within deadlines.
• Collaborate with other members of team to ensure timely delivery of content.
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.
• Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in articles or content.

Requirements:

• 3+ years writing digitally focus copy in the beauty, or personal care category
• Experience with project management tool. i.e.) Wrike, Asana
• Experience working with legal review process.
• Bonus: Experience writing for medical beauty and pharma.
