Title: Mill Test Report Specialist

Reports To: Quality Manager

Classification: Non-Exempt

Location: Spring, TX Sigma Fasteners

▪ Must be familiar with MTR’s

▪ Review incoming supplier MTR’s against the requirements prior to entering into MTR system and enter into Software accurately. Contact vendor when there are any issues with MTR’s.

▪ Scan and/or save outside testing reports.

▪ Generate MTRs for customer orders as per the customer requirements and industry standards.

▪ Generate coating certificates for fastener and industrial coating orders.

▪ Submit quality documentation to customer portals.

▪ Review customer feedback on documentation submitted.

▪ Liaise with other departments on any issues regarding the order documentation.

▪ On time delivery of process or product as applicable to this job.

▪ Participate in SIGMA procedure training as necessary to accomplish this position.

▪ Adherence to the SIGMA Quality Management System, Safety Manual, and employment policies as outlined upon being hired by SIGMA, and as updated from time to time.

▪ Maintenance, accuracy and cleanliness of the work area.

▪ Generate non-conformance reports when required.

▪ Assist with generating Corrective and Preventive Action Reports.

▪ Assist with projects as required.

Qualifications:

▪ Works well under pressure with the ability to listen, prioritize, follow instructions, trouble shoot and execute all tasks assigned.

▪ Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills

▪ Cooperates with immediate supervisor and Human Resources concerning all company policies, rules, regulations, and safety programs.

▪ Proper phone & email etiquette.

▪ Fast paced office environment

▪ Drug screen and background check.

▪ Flexibility regarding hours and scheduling

Education and/or Experience

▪ Experience in steel industry and dealing with mill certificates as well as ERP experience.

▪ Minimum education: High School Diploma/GED•Basic Computer Skills (MS Office, Email Software (Outlook, Excel, etc)

▪ Basic Math/ Chemistry
