Are you an experienced Senior Commercial Manager looking to take the lead on major construction projects? A leading general contractor is seeking a high-caliber professional to oversee the commercial and financial management of projects valued between $50M – $200M .

Role Overview:

As a Senior Commercial Manager , you will be responsible for driving project financials, cost control, and contractual management, ensuring successful delivery from a commercial standpoint—similar to a Quantity Surveyor role in the UK. This position is integral to maintaining profitability, mitigating risks, and ensuring seamless financial operations across large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all commercial aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Lead cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Manage contracts, procurement, and change orders.
• Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure financial efficiency.
• Identify and mitigate potential commercial risks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in commercial management, cost engineering, or quantity surveying within large-scale construction projects.
• Background in general contracting, infrastructure, or commercial building sectors .
• Strong understanding of cost control, forecasting, and contract management .
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field preferred.
