Job Description

We have an Excellent career opportunity for a Chemical Operator to join a leading Company in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Salary: $49,920 - $54,080

Chemical Operators are responsible for safe and efficient production in order to meet customer demands for quality and quantity.

Job Responsibilities:

Performs jobs to support the daily production needs including:

• Pump waste drums/totes into storage
• Prepares drum setups for drum filling
• Fills drums for shipments
• Drops and cleans waste water filter presses
• Becomes familiar with all plant operations

Maintain Housekeeping

• Work safely and actively participate in the safety program
• Learn at least two process areas, such as:
  • Ferric and Ferrous Chloride
  • Etchant
  • Copper Oxide
  • Copper Carbonate
  • Acid and Base Neutralization
  • Waste Water
• Meet production and quality standards

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with chemical and production processes
• Previous chemical or manufacturing experience is preferred
• Working knowledge of computers and office software
• HazMat/DOT experience preferred
• Forklift Operation

Desired Qualifications:

• HazMat experience
• Handy skills, doing work on their car, construction, operating a forklift.
