Ryder is hiring a CDL A Regional Dry Van Driver in Minneapolis, MN. Ryder regional driver can anticipate quality home time with family and friends while usually being home through the week and/or on weekends or a combination of both. A regional truck driving job typically consists of moving freight within a region that encompasses the surrounding areas. Compensation:

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,403 - $1,700
  • Solo Miles Pay: 60CPM with 2000+ miles per week
  • Solo Stops Pay:$18.75 per stop with 8+ stops per week
  • Per Diem Pay: $27.50 per night with 3 - 4 nights per week
  • Consecutive Multi-Night Route Premium of $150
• Bonuses
  • Loyalty Bonus: $5000 - Pays you $2500 at 6 months and $2500 at 12 months
  • Unlimited driver referral bonuses
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route & Schedule:

• Mostly Tuesday - Friday. NO WEEKENDS
• Start time: 4 am
• Route: MN, IA, WI, ND, NE,MT, CO, WY and SD
• Touch general freight

Equipment:

• Trucks are 36 months or newer
• Auto sleepers
• Dry van or Reefer, 53
• Equipment: manual pallet jack
• 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL A License
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years experience within the last 10 years
• Must obtain Hazmat within 90 days of hire
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
• Must live within 30 miles of Minneapolis, MN
