The Citizen Cider Brand Ambassador role is responsible for representing Citizen Cider in various events and tastings throughout the state of Maine.

The Brand Ambassador works closely with the state manager to support on and off premise tastings, samplings, and support for various types of events, including (but not limited to): tastings, golf tournaments, beer festivals, pint nights, and/or various promotions.

Aside from the above, the Brand Ambassador should help improve our relationships and ways of working with accounts and be knowledgeable about the products. The time investment and/or the quantity of hours/events worked is flexible but part-time.

The Brand Ambassador position requires a responsible, self-motivated, and friendly person (able to talk to anyone).

Desirable candidates would reside in, or be willing to travel to, any of the following areas of southern Maine:

• Southern Maine - Portland and surrounding areas, including Waterville, Augusta, and the mountain/ski regions in the west

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Represent and promote Citizen Cider in the market via samplings, tastings, festivals or events
• Support the brand in all ways, even when off the clock
• Present brand values and build relationships with the public and all contacts at every account, treating all account employees as valued stakeholders
• Ensure proper brand presentation and maximize exposure in line with brand guidelines and direction from the state manager
• Merchandise our products by facing cans and stocking shelves while in an account

• Represent and promote Citizen Cider in the market
• Support tastings and samplings in the trade
• Support the on-premise with on-site promotions
• Merchandise Citizen Cider in the market
• Represent Citizen Cider at festivals, trade shows and off-premise events
• Present brand values and build relationships with all employees at every account
• Ensure brand presentation within accounts and maximize exposure in line with brand guidelines

Required Skills and Abilities

• Must be 21+
• Experience in marketing and sales a plus
• A self-starter and team player, always striving for the best solution and not the easiest
• Flexible schedule – Available to work nights and weekends (primarily on Fridays)
• Valid state driver’s license
• Reliable transportation required

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent or related experience

Preferred Education and Experience

• 1+ years of customer service experience preferred
• 1-2 years of brand ambassador and/or marketing experience preferred
