Accounts Payable Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for a client in the Sharonville area. Ideal candidates will have at least 1-3 years of accounts payable experience along with string data entry and Microsoft excel skills. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $20 and $24/hr. depending on experience.

Job Duties:

• Accurately enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.
• Ensure all data is entered in a timely manner to meet payment deadlines.
• Verify invoice details, including amounts, dates, and vendor information.
• Review and process vendor invoices for payment.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Resolve discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice and payment issues.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records.
• Assist in month-end closing by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Generate accounts payable reports as needed.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and audits.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
