We are looking for full-time machine operators with a desire to excel in a fast-paced high-tech environment, to continue our tradition of producing high-quality hosiery in our Knitting Department.

Hours: 2pm to 10pm Monday - Friday.

Essential Dues and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operating an assigned number of knitting machines while applying safety and quality standards.
• Continually inspect quality of semi-finished goods (hosiery).
• Retrieve correctly identified raw materials and keep knitting machines in ample supply of raw materials.
• Responsible for proper threading and re-threading of the knitting machines.
• Complete related job reporting functions and paperwork as required.

Requirements:

• Communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to be flexible and work under pressure in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
• Ability to interact in a proactive manner with peers and management.
• Team player.
• Must be capable of standing and walking up to 12 hours per day.
• Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. Frequent overhead reaching.
• Capable of adhering to Standard Work Procedures.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication).
• Must be legally authorized to work for a company in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferences:

• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
